Kachemak Bay Premium Package
You’ll meet your captain and crew bright and early at the dock and climb aboard our state-of-the-art gyro stabilized 40’ Bay Weld vessel. After a short safety brief, we’ll taxi out of the harbor and run 1275 HP to get you out to one of our nearby Halibut spots in record time. Once we anchor up, we’ll break out the Shimano rods and reels, and put our secret combination of baits and jigs on the bottom to catch a cooler full of delicious Halibut. Our captain and crew will collaborate throughout the morning and change locations as needed to ensure you have the greatest chance of success. After ½ day of fishing, we’ll head into Seldovia Harbor where you’ll have a chance to walk around this quaint Alaska village while the crew is setting up for your meal. You'll have to check out several shops and stores along main street or peruse the boat harbor and chat with the locals. Now, jump back on the Wilderness Explorer and we’ll head for one of our favorite scenic coves where you’ll have an opportunity to relax, glass for wildlife, take photos and eat! You’ll start off with a crisp vegetable tray and jumbo shrimp appetizer, followed by your choice of grilled New York Steak or Marinated Chicken. Also on the menu, parmesan crusted asparagus, cheese covered broccoli, and Alaska red skinned potatoes baked to perfection. As a bonus, a heaping plate of steamed Alaska Crab and melted butter will be center-table! Top it all off with caramel drizzled cheesecake or warm pie with vanilla ice cream. Relax on the deck with a cup of coffee, tea, or your favorite beverage and take in the view while the crew cleans up before our cruise back to Homer.
